This workshop was held with the National Reserve of Tijuana River Estuary (USA), in civil partnership Alter Terra (Tijuana, Mexico), Earth Island Institute (USA), and the College of Architects of Tijuana. The workshop was a general invitation to the public and free. The workshop was conducted by specialists and Bernet Farnsword Buknum Marisha. As a result of the workshop was installed, along with the participants, a small pilot structure for water treatment in Los Laureles Canyon in Tijuana.

We had a participation helping in the logistics for an event that sought to sensitize the general public about the scientific basis of the phenomenon of global warming and the policies are enabling the state of California, USA and Baja California, MX to address the problem and the likely effects that in both states. The institutions that participated in this event were: State Government of Baja California, UNAM, UABC, CISESE, Alter Terra AC, National Reserve of Tijuana River Estuary (EU), PEACBC.

Este taller se realizo conjuntamente con la Reserva Nacional del Estuario del Rio Tijuana (Estados Unidos), la asociación civil Alter Terra (Tijuana, México), el Earth Island Institute (Estados Unidos), y el Colegio de Arquitectos de Tijuana. El taller fue una convocatoria general a la ciudadanía y gratuito. El taller fue impartido por la especialista Daisy Tonatzin. Como resultado del taller se instalo, junto con los participantes, una huerto piloto para en el Cañón de Los Laureles de Tijuana.
